Associate Director

About the role

The Associate Director will assist Investment Advisors in representing clients in the buying and selling of commercial properties. They will also act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers. Responsibilities include promoting sales through various marketing channels, preparing and providing legal documents, building client relationships, collaborating with Mortgage Bankers, accompanying buyers during property tours, and staying updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Aid Investment Advisors in representing clients in commercial property transactions
• Interact as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers
• Promote sales through all marketing channels
• Prepare and provide all necessary legal documents for transactions
• Build and cultivate client relationships within the assigned region
• Collaborate with Mortgage Bankers on clients and transactions to develop business and enhance the Berkadia brand
• Accompany buyers during property tours and advise them on property suitability and value
• Stay informed about commercial real estate trends through reading trade journals, attending conventions, seminars, and association meetings

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Transaction Analyst, Underwriter, or Associate
• Ability to work with tight deadlines in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
