Associate - Construction - Tampa

Position Summary

Shutts & Bowen’s Tampa office is seeking a Senior Associate with 5 to 7 years of litigation experience to join its Construction Litigation Practice Group. The associate will work closely with 2 Board Certified Construction partners who represent a wide variety of clients in complex, large dollar construction disputes. The ideal candidate will love being in the courtroom and have the ability to cover hearings and depositions independently.

Requirements

• Top academic credentials and excellent litigation skills is highly preferred
• Work in a collaborative environment
• Be organized, diligent, and comfortable in court
• Be a member of the Florida Bar
• Have relevant complex litigation experience, ideally with a focus on Construction matters

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of litigation experience
• Experience in complex, large dollar construction disputes
• Ability to cover hearings and depositions independently
