Associate Benefits Administrator - Relocate to Warroad, MN

This position provides administrative support for all of Marvin’s benefits programs, including insurance plans, wellness programs, leaves of absence, and retirement plans. Located in Warroad, MN, this role supports the human resources and payroll teams in benefit plan administration. Relocation assistance is available, including household-goods movement, temporary housing, and a dedicated relocation counselor.

Responsibilities

  • Supports maintenance and administration of benefit plan processes, resolving time-sensitive benefits issues (e.g., enrollment/eligibility, appeals, leave of absence inquiries, dependent verification, letters, and form completion).
  • Interacts with benefits vendors, leave of absence administrators, and other vendors to address detailed employee issues, acting as a liaison.
  • Reviews and processes monthly billing for all group plans.
  • Manages the administration of benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, well-being reimbursement, EAP, 401(k), and COBRA; assists with future program implementations.
  • Ensures accuracy of benefits enrollment data across all systems, providing vendors and employees with correct eligibility information; resolves EDI file errors promptly.
  • Partners with HR, Payroll, and Accounting to maintain end-to-end data consistency.
  • Assists with the annual open enrollment process.
  • Supports special projects aimed at streamlining administrative processes for benefit plan delivery.
  • Provides general assistance to the benefits team with day-to-day administration and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in HR or benefits (preferred).
  • Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Pay

$46,000 - $62,000 annually.
