Associate Benefits Administrator - Relocate to Warroad, MN
Job Overview
The Associate Benefits Administrator provides administrative support for all Marvin’s benefits programs including insurance plans, wellness programs, Leaves of Absence, and retirement plans. This position provides support to Marvin’s human resources and payroll teams relating to benefit plan administration. This job is located in Warroad, MN. About the Role
Supports maintenance and administration of benefit plan processes and provides resolution for time-sensitive benefits issues (i.e., enrollment/eligibility issues, appeals process, leave of absence inquiries, dependent verification process, letters & form completion, etc.). Interacts with Marvin’s benefits vendors, leave of absence administrator and various other vendors regarding detailed employee issues and acts as liaison between vendors. Reviews and processes monthly billing for all group plans. Manages the administration of benefit plans to include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, Well-being reimbursement, EAP, 401(k) and COBRA; assists with future implementation of new programs. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollment data in all systems to provide vendors and employees with accurate eligibility information; responds to all EDI file error reports and fixes issues in a timely manner. Partners with the HR team, Payroll, and Accounting to ensure end-to-end data consistency. Assists with the annual open enrollment process. Assists with special projects relating to streamlining administrative processes associated with benefit plan delivery. Assists the benefits team with projects and day-to-day administration of benefits, as needed.

- PARTNERS WITH THE HR TEAM, PAYROLL, AND ACCOUNTING TO ENSURE END-TO-END DATA CONSISTENCY.
- ASSISTS WITH THE ANNUAL OPEN ENROLLMENT PROCESS.
- ASSISTS WITH SPECIAL PROJECTS RELATING TO STREAMLINING ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSES ASSOCIATED WITH BENEFIT PLAN DELIVERY.
- ASSISTS THE BENEFITS TEAM WITH PROJECTS AND DAY-TODAY ADMINISTRATION OF BENEFITS, AS NEEDED.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 0-2+ years of experience in HR or benefits preferred
Qualifications
- Strong technical aptitude
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized, with attention to accuracy
- Ability to confidentially maintain personal information and understand and respect the nature of sensitive data
