Responsibilities
- Manage a docket of complex labor and employment litigation matters
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Handle discovery strategy and motion practice
- Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Provide day-to-day counseling to employers on employment law compliance and risk management
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver practical legal solutions
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
Qualifications
- 8+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
- Strong experience defending California employment claims
- Excellent writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Deposition and courtroom experience preferred
- Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Active membership in the California State Bar
