About the role
The ideal candidate will have 0-3 years of litigation experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume role (including keeping up with email and voicemail)
- Ability to work closely with support staff and other attorneys to maximize efficiency
- Ability to communicate with clients, opposing attorneys and pro se litigants in a professional and respectful manner
- Ability to exercise independent judgment related to case progress and resolution
- Ability to make weekly court appearances (including traveling) for dockets, motion hearings and trial
Requirements
- Attorney licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and/or Colorado
Qualifications
Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
