About the role
Pappas Hayden Westberg & Jackson PC is a creditor’s rights and civil litigation law firm located in Overland Park, KS. They are seeking an attorney licensed and residing in Colorado (with preference for those holding licenses in KS and/or MO).
Responsibilities
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, responses, settlement agreements, and other legal documents as necessary.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-volume role, including managing emails and voicemails.
- Collaborate with support staff and other attorneys to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, opposing attorneys, and pro se litigants.
- Exercise independent judgment regarding case progress and resolution.
- Attend weekly court appearances, including travel, for dockets, motion hearings, and trials.
Requirements
- Minimum office hours of 8:00am to 5:30pm for Full-Time positions.
Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado.
- Preferred to have licenses in Kansas and Missouri.
- Candidates seeking admission via the July Bar Exam may also be considered.
Skills
- Strong writing and drafting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with legal research and case management.
- Proficiency in legal software and technology.

Pay

Schedule
