Associate Attorney

About the role

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney of experience in New Hampshire State and/or Federal Criminal Defense, based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients
• Conduct legal research
• Prepare and review legal documents
• Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings

Qualifications

• Proficiency in criminal law and legal practices
• Ability to provide sound legal advice and counsel to clients
• Strong research skills for case preparation and legal analysis
• Manage demanding caseloads with discretion and care
• Experience with negotiation and representing clients' interests effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership in New Hampshire
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Prior experience in a legal firm or similar environment is a plus
