Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment

About the role

The Paramus, New Jersey office of Hall Booth Smith, P.C. (HBS) is seeking Associate Attorneys to join its growing Labor & Employment practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys looking to expand their practice while working with an experienced and collaborative team representing employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters.

Responsibilities

• Litigation and employment law experience
• Experience with labor relations matters, including collective bargaining, grievances, and arbitrations
• Develop and execute pre-trial strategy
• Exercise sound judgment and think creatively
• Manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar in good standing
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong work ethic

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation and employment law experience
• Experience with labor relations matters, including collective bargaining, grievances, and arbitrations, is a plus
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute pre-trial strategy, exercise sound judgment, and think creatively
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment

Benefits

• Salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience
