Job Details

Job Description:

  • Represent clients in construction and construction defect claims, managing cases from inception through trial or settlement
  • Provide risk management advice and strategic legal guidance throughout construction projects
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and clarity
  • Conduct complex legal research and analysis on construction and construction defect matters
  • Collaborate with experts, consultants, and other professionals to develop strong case strategies
  • Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings
  • Mentor and support junior attorneys in research, case preparation, and trial strategy

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the Texas Bar, in good standing
  • 2+ years of litigation experience; prior construction or construction defect litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team
  • Strong client-service orientation and interpersonal skills
