Associate Administrator Position Summary The Associate Administrator is a post-graduate leadership development position designed to provide exposure to all facets of healthcare operations and executive leadership. The Associate Administrator partners with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives, operational improvement projects, organizational planning efforts, and system-level priorities. Through rotational assignments, project leadership, executive mentoring, and participation in leadership meetings, the Associate Administrator develops the knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for future healthcare leadership roles. Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), or related field. Degree completed within the past 24 months or expected prior to start date. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated leadership experience through academic, professional, or community activities. Preferred Qualifications Administrative residency, internship, or healthcare leadership experience. Experience with healthcare quality improvement projects. Membership in ACHE or other healthcare leadership organizations. Prior work experience in a healthcare setting. Essential Responsibilities Executive Leadership Support Support executive leaders with strategic planning, project management, operational analyses, and special initiatives.Participate in executive leadership meetings, service line meetings, board committee meetings, and strategic planning sessions.Prepare reports, presentations, dashboards, and leadership briefings.Conduct research and benchmarking related to operational and strategic priorities. Operations and Project Management Lead and coordinate special projects assigned by executive leadership.Assist departments in identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.Participate in organizational performance improvement initiatives. Strategic Planning Assist with development and implementation of organizational strategic plans.Analyze market, financial, operational, and quality data to support decision-making.Support growth initiatives, service line development, and business planning activities. Quality and Performance Improvement Participate in quality, patient safety, patient experience, and operational excellence initiatives.Analyze performance indicators and recommend improvement opportunities.Support organizational goal tracking and reporting. Leadership Development Rotate through key operational and support departments.Develop relationships with executive, physician, and departmental leaders.Participate in leadership training and professional development activities.Complete assigned fellowship capstone projects. Financial and Business Operations Gain exposure to budgeting, financial management, labor productivity, and healthcare reimbursement.Assist with business case development and financial analyses.Support operational planning and resource allocation decisions.
