Associate Account Manager Amazon North America
About the role
The Amazon Associate Key Account Manager will play a critical role in accelerating the growth of Vestacy's Amazon business across North America, spanning brands including Air Wick, Woolite, Resolve, Easy-Off, Rid-X, and Spray 'N Wash. This role is based in the US and will own the Canadian Amazon business, scaling learnings and best practices across the broader North American Customer (NAC) footprint.
During an interim period, this individual will own both the US and Canadian Amazon businesses in full; following that transition, the role will shift to a Canada-first mandate, with continued close collaboration on the US business.
This position will oversee the full customer lifecycle, developing strategic plans, executing joint business initiatives, and partnering across internal functions including daily collaboration with the Canada team to ensure alignment across Product, Price, Place, and Promotion (4P) to deliver outstanding business results.
Responsibilities
- Own the Amazon business across Canada as a primary responsibility and the US when collaboration and scale is possible. Responsible for delivering revenue, profit, and market share objectives across the Canadian business.
- Collaborate daily with the Canada team to ensure 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) alignment.
- Develop and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs), promotional strategies, and growth initiatives aligned to Vestacy's objectives.
- Deliver or exceed key commercial metrics including Net Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Profit, Trade Investment, and Working Capital targets.
- Partner closely with Brand Marketing, Media, Supply Chain, Finance, Revenue Growth Management, Category Development, and Customer Marketing to ensure flawless execution of commercial plans.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting, demand planning alignment, and monthly business reviews.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution, optimize assortment, improve digital shelf execution, and increase conversion across Amazon platforms.
- Analyze business performance using Amazon Vendor Central, syndicated data, digital shelf analytics, and internal reporting to identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage promotional investments and trade spend to maximize ROI while ensuring profitable growth.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, simplifying processes, and implementing scalable best practices.
- Collaborate with the Global Amazon team to leverage global initiatives while executing market-specific strategies for North America.
- Execute hands-on, day-to-day content work when needed — including directly editing Product Detail Pages (PDPs).
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset with a bias toward action.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
- 3-5+ years of Ecommerce Account Management and/or National Account Management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing Amazon or another large omnichannel retailer.
- Strong understanding of Amazon Vendor Central, eCommerce fundamentals, retail media, digital shelf optimization, and promotional planning.
- Experience developing Joint Business Plans and leading complex customer negotiations.
- Strong commercial, financial, and analytical acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Experience managing P&L performance and delivering profitable growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Circana/Nielsen, Stackline, Profitero, Pacvue, or similar analytics platforms preferred.
- Must hold citizenship or visa status that allows travel to Canada. While customer meetings are almost entirely virtual, this individual is expected to be onsite in Canada roughly once per quarter.
