Associate Academic Coach

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining a caseload of students who are participating in the “Say Yes to Education Cleveland” program, first-generation college students or students experiencing academic difficulty. Coaches encourage achievement of goals through self-assessment, reflection and connection to campus and community resources with a goal of graduation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Three (3) years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring, student programming or student services in an educational or programming setting.
• Experience working with student population and recruitment efforts.
• Experience using an early alert/advising system powered by predictive analytics.
