About the role

The Front End Development Lead will guide the technical direction and execution of digital projects, ensuring high-quality user experiences and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of front-end developers to build and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
• Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and workflows for front-end development.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
• Familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python) and RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a passion for mentorship and team collaboration.
