About the role
The Assisted Living Director / Resident Care Coordinator oversees daily operations in an assisted living facility, ensuring residents receive high-quality care and support. This role involves managing staff, implementing care plans, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including staffing, budget management, and facility maintenance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents and staff.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure resident health and wellness.
- Conduct regular assessments of resident care quality and make necessary adjustments.
- Train and mentor new staff members to ensure consistent high standards of care.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior care or related field.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.
- Experience with care coordination and resident assessment tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
