About the role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as the next Assistant Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Superintendent.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operations of the facility to meet all regulatory requirements
- Inventory and maintain operating stocks of process chemicals and operating supplies
- Develop and maintain information for reports and records
- Work to ensure all safety training and programs are implemented
- Maintain effective communication among staff
- Evaluate the work of assigned personnel
- Provide staff training in areas of treatment operations, equipment maintenance and proper operation of plant equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations
- Experience with regulatory compliance and safety protocols
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
