Summary Of Duties
- Recruiting-actively recruiting student-athletes on an on-going basis
- Team Management-keeping stats updated with the NJCAA, maintaining an official book, maintaining copies of game film
- Media Relations-reporting of scores following each contest
- Study Tables-monitor study tables for student-athletes
- Meal Prep and Order-when conflicting cafeteria schedules coincide with practice
Supervisory Responsibilities
None.
Working Conditions
Position will require working evenings, weekends, and out of town travel.
Physical Demands
Will need to be able to bend, stoop, walk, and run as part of daily functions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have a working knowledge of Women’s Basketball, and have previous coaching experience and/or collegiate playing experience.
- Must have a valid ND Driver’s License and be insurable under UTTC’s insurance carrier or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
Knowledge & Skills
- Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills.
- Must possess some knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
- Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school employees, parents, and students.
