Assistant Women's Basketball Coach/Manager Women's Basketball Operations
Job Summary
Bucknell University is seeking an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach/Manager of Basketball Operations. This role supports the head coach and assists with on-court coaching and the recruiting process.
What You Will Do
- Assists the head women's basketball coach in organizing and administering the program
- Develops and implements competitive performance strategies and practices
- Manages inventory and orders team equipment
- Provides academic guidance and support to players
- Ensures players, equipment, and facilities are well-prepared and organized
- Scouts new recruits and collaborates with the head coach to guide prospective student-athletes
- Collaborates in making schedules, travel arrangements, and travels with the team to competitions
- Prepares for special events, including facility reservations, set-up, meal coordination, registration, and other needs
Required What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Athletic Training, or a related field
- 1 year of experience coaching or competing in professional or collegiate basketball
- Master’s Degree preferred, but not required
- Physical Requirements: Moderate physical activity, handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
Salary Range
$44,600.00 - $55,750.00
