Assistant Teacher in Montessori School

About the Role

Join our Montessori school and help shape future generations by fostering a love of learning in students aged birth through 6 years old. As an Associate Teacher, you'll work alongside experienced Montessori educators to create high-quality learning opportunities for infants, toddlers, preschool, and Kindergarten students. This full-time position is ideal for those passionate about early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Support the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers as part of a teaching team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment aligned with Montessori principles.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children.
• Use positive redirection to guide children and sustain a nurturing learning environment.
• Communicate with parents on routine matters regarding student health and care.

Requirements

• Minimum: CDA or Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework in a related field.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is a plus.
