About the Role
Join our team as an Assistant Montessori Teacher and help cultivate a lifelong love of learning in students from birth through 6 years old. This full-time position partners with trained Montessori Teachers to deliver high-quality learning opportunities in a supportive, collaborative environment. No prior Montessori experience is necessary—we provide training and mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Support lead Montessori Teachers in classroom activities and daily operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom aligned with Montessori philosophy.
- Provide basic care and active supervision for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and kindergarteners.
- Use positive redirection to guide children and foster a nurturing learning environment.
- Communicate with parents on routine matters regarding student health and care.
Requirements
- Minimum: CDA credential, Associate’s Degree, or some college coursework in a related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or Human Development.
