What You Get To Do
- Oversight of performance and productivity of all location Ambassadors within sub-department locations
- Supervision of Ambassadors while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelines
- Training and counseling of sub-department location Ambassadors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Completion of appropriate paperwork and administration of appropriate disciplinary action, as directed by Management and/or Human Resources
- Ensuring compliance of Labor Laws with regards to breaks and hours worked per day
- Execution of suggestive selling techniques through observation, coaching, and role modeling behaviors to all Ambassadors
- Management of sub-department location opening and closing procedures and ensuring all Ambassadors are assigned and complete tasks within a timely manner
- Resolution of all Guest Service matters for the location in a professional and timely manner, while supporting and demonstrating the ACE Actions and Guest Service philosophies
- Monitoring and compliance with the area opening and closing procedures and ensuring all Ambassadors complete tasks within a timely manner
- Establishment and maintenance of a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of Ambassador engagement while supporting and demonstrating exemplary guest service
- Consistent practice of safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting and reporting unsafe situations
What It Takes To Succeed
- Five(5) months merchandise experience, or equivalent external experience
- No significant performance deficiencies within a 1 year period
- High School Diploma Preferred
- Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends and holidays)
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced work environment; must be able to work independently
- Possess a high level of problem-solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Have proficient mathematical skills and be able to process monetary transactions with accuracy, specifically an aptitude for retail math is necessary
- Ability to push/pull/lift/carry 50lbs or more on an occasional basis; frequent extensive walking, standing, occasional climbing; work environment varies from indoors in air-conditioned space to outdoor work in all weather conditions (i.e. heat, humidity, rain and cold)
- Willingness to comply with all grooming standards and SEA employment standards
- Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
- Willingness to comply and ensure all Ambassadors comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
