Assistant Supervisor, Guest Arrival (Part-Time, Sesame Place)

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to become our Assistant Supervisors for Guest Arrival at Sesame Place. You will play a crucial part on our incredible team, helping to ensure that guests have a fantastic first impression and experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and counsel Ambassadors
• Perform the job duties you’re supervising in Guest Arrival areas such as: Parking Lot, Ticketing, Turnstiles, Reservation Check-In Area
• Track labor, including daily scheduling and break management
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all team members, guests, and animals
• Develop team members through training, feedback, and coaching
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
• Create and maintain team rotation grid
• Respond to guest and team member needs
• Report project status to Supervisors and Managers
• Ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures

Requirements

• At least 4 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day during peak season
• At least 3 days of unrestricted availability with one day being a weekend day during off season
• At least 18 years old
• Valid state driver’s license
• Ability to complete CPR/AED training/certification
• Ability to be certified on all attractions
• Outstanding communication, public speaking, problem solving and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during challenging situations
• Computer proficiency with MS Office
• Comfortable working outdoors, around water and at heights up to 350 ft.
• Previous cash handling experience and ability to work multiple selling systems
• Previous leadership experience highly desirable

• Availability to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Flexible to work up to 29 hours weekly

Pay

Starting Base Pay: $17.50 per hour
