About the Role
Under general direction of the Deputy or Associate Superintendent of Educational Services, this position is responsible for developing, supporting and monitoring the delivery of Special Education programs, related services and transportation services for students from the age of birth to 22 years.
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and monitor Special Education programs and related services.
- Oversee transportation services for students aged birth to 22 years.
- Apply administrative expertise and knowledge of Special Education, including specialized and common core curriculum, instructional strategies, identification, referral, and assessment procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all administrative and legal aspects of special education.
Requirements
- Valid California Administrative Services credential required.
- Five (5) years of increasingly responsible management experience, preferably in a public school district.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred.
- Administrative expertise and demonstrated knowledge of Special Education and related services.

Pay
Pay Range: $192,127 - $226,902 Annually (based on experience).
Schedule
- 8 Hours/Day, 5 Days/Week
- 222 Days/Year, 12 Months/Year
