About the role

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for supporting the Superintendent in managing the day-to-day operations of the school district. This includes overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and providing leadership to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative tasks such as budget management, personnel administration, and facility maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal educational standards and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to enhance educational outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote the district's goals.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational administration or a related field.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal educational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in a public school setting.
  • Knowledge of technology integration in education.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
