About the role
The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for supporting the Superintendent in managing the day-to-day operations of the school district. This includes overseeing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and providing leadership to staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative tasks such as budget management, personnel administration, and facility maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal educational standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and staff to enhance educational outcomes.
- Manage relationships with community partners and stakeholders to promote the district's goals.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in educational administration or a related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managing teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of state and federal educational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a public school setting.
- Knowledge of technology integration in education.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
