Assistant Superintendent - Dallas, TX
Position Summary
The Assistant Superintendent will support daily field operations for our assigned scope on a data center construction project in the Dallas, Texas area. The work will include footings, foundations, precast construction, roofing, drywall, metal stud framing, and office upfit activities associated with the project. This role will work closely with the Superintendent, Project Manager, general contractor, subcontractors, and trade partners to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and effective jobsite coordination.
Essential Responsibilities
- Aid the Superintendent with daily field operations and coordination of DELCO's assigned project scope.
- Coordinate subcontractors and trade partners performing footings, foundations, precast, roofing, drywall, and metal stud framing.
- Maintain work progress and help maintain the project schedule and required milestones.
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety requirements and company expectations.
- Support quality control and verify that work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Cookordinate site logistics, material deliveries, inspections, and access with the general contractor and other project teams.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, photos, and other required project documentation.
- Review drawings and specifications and promptly communicate conflicts, delays, or field concerns.
- Assist with project mobilization, punchlist activities, and closeout.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial construction field experience is preferred.
- Experience supporting a Superintendent on large commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects.
- Experience coordinating concrete, structural, building envelope, interior framing, drywall, or office upfit scopes is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and construction management software such as Procore is preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
Preferred Project Experience
- Previous data center or mission critical project experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience working on large, fast-paced projects with strict safety, quality, documentation, and schedule expectations.
- Experience coordinating work within an active site involving multiple contractors and overlapping scopes.

Physical Requirements
- This position regularly requires walking active jobsites, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather conditions while complying with all project safety requirements.
