Responsibilities
- Implement the daily operation of the assigned residence and function as shift leader in the absence of the Residence Manager (RM).
- Aid in the planning and execution of Individual Service Plans (ISP)/Individualized Plan of Care (IPP) Plans.
- Maintain mandated Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) medication certification and dispense medication as assigned.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed, including daily logs, MyAvatar, staff communication logs, data collection, bed checks.
- Responsible for student/resident clothing and property inventories.
- Complete client/house money ledgers as spending occurs in conjunction with the RM.
- Supervise and assist with house meals.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher degree (BS/BA) preferred.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- One year of relevant experience preferred.
- Valid CT Drivers License.
- Flexible, patient, energetic, and creative.
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs.
Physical Requirements
- Sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the workday.
- Lift, push, pull, or assist with up to 70 pounds as needed.
- Assist with emergency responses, including evacuations or crisis situations.

Pay & Schedule
Starting at $23.50 hourly (commensurate with education and experience).
