About the role
Propper Asset Management LLC is a privately owned real estate investment and management firm with residential and commercial properties throughout Missouri. This position is located at The Residences at Tesson Ridge, a large luxury multifamily community in South St. Louis County.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Property Manager in all aspects of community operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, tracking rental income, and ensuring financial accuracy in Yardi or similar property management software.
- Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, help coordinate and host resident events, and lead community outreach programs that promote resident satisfaction and retention.
- Handle leasing activities from start to finish - touring prospective residents, following up on leads, executing leases, and coordinating renewals - while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local property management laws.
- Coordinate with vendors, maintain property standards, and assist in training and supporting new team members to build a strong and cohesive on-site team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management (required)
- Proven record of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency rates
- Strong budget management and accounting experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Yardi Property Management Software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
