About the role

Propper Asset Management LLC is a privately owned real estate investment and management firm with residential and commercial properties throughout Missouri. This position is located at The Residences at Tesson Ridge, a large luxury multifamily community in South St. Louis County.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Property Manager in all aspects of community operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, tracking rental income, and ensuring financial accuracy in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Prepare and manage operating and capital budgets, help coordinate and host resident events, and lead community outreach programs that promote resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle leasing activities from start to finish - touring prospective residents, following up on leads, executing leases, and coordinating renewals - while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local property management laws.
  • Coordinate with vendors, maintain property standards, and assist in training and supporting new team members to build a strong and cohesive on-site team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in multifamily property management (required)
  • Proven record of maintaining high occupancy, low turnover, and low delinquency rates
  • Strong budget management and accounting experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Yardi Property Management Software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
