Assistant Property Manager - Conners Sr Village
About the role
Fairway Management (FWM) is a key division of JES Holdings, responsible for managing over 250 apartment communities and single-family rental subdivisions in the affordable housing market. The Assistant Property Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations, maintaining resident records, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diligently ensure all Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain up-to-date resident records and assist with rent collections.
- Provide outstanding service to residents, resolving inquiries, work orders, and requests in a timely manner.
- Support the property manager with daily operational tasks.
- Maintain and build the prospect waitlist.
- Aid in leasing efforts, tours, and resident move-ins and move-outs.
- Assist in the certification and annual re-certification process in compliance with affordable housing, state agency, and government agency program standards.
- Ensure vacant apartments are ready to lease quickly and market them diligently until occupied.
- Walk the property regularly throughout the day.
- Utilize property management software for data entry and reporting.
- Be available to be on call for after-hours emergencies and other business needs.
- Travel to, and participate in, regional and home office training and/or conferences as required.
- Assist in all delegated tasks assigned by the property manager or regional team member.
- Learn and apply local and federal housing regulations.
- Conduct oneself professionally with staff, vendors, and residents.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills & Competencies: Must have competency in Microsoft Office Suite and be able to learn new programs.
- Preferred Qualifications: One year of office, teaching, or property management experience; one year supervisory experience preferred; six months of affordable housing experience preferred with LIHTC Real Page Onesite experience preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $[Salary Range], commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This position is full-time, working from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
