Assistant Project Coordinator (Virtual Design and Construction)

Job Summary

Morley Moss, Inc. in Sunnyvale, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator for their Virtual Design and Construction Department. The Assistant Project Coordinator will assist in project planning, risk management, and process standardization, working under the guidance of the Senior VDC Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Project Planning assistance: Developing strategies and plans for implementing VDC processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and conflicts and developing mitigation strategies.
• Performance Observation: Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of project coordinators and making recommendations for improvements.
• Process Standardization: Ensuring the established standardized workflows and protocols are being used.
• High Level Personnel Management: Empowering project coordinators to run their projects autonomously within established parameters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Working experience with Revit software
• Associate's degree in computer drafting or construction management
• Field experience in the construction trade
• Electrical construction experience a plus

• Project tracking documents (schedules, drawing trackers)

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to communicate effectively with others
• Frequent use of office tools and equipment such as computers, calculators, copy machines
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to twenty-five (25) pounds

Work Environment

• Typical office environment conditions
• May occasionally visit field locations
