Responsibilities
- Supervise professional and paraprofessional staff to ensure high performance in client care
- Work closely with clinic doctors, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and the clinical practice manager
- Assist with planning and conducting in-service training for staff
- Review case records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Review clinical and administrative reports with staff, ensuring adherence to agency policies
- Provide individual and group supervision to clinicians as assigned by the Program Director
- Evaluate staff performance and help improve worker quality
- Prepare written evaluations, corrective action plans, and disciplinary actions as required
- Collaborate with doctors, clinical supervisors, and therapists to address clinical challenges and determine treatment plans
- Maintain and review program policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date and followed
- Provide crisis intervention and assist with client needs as necessary
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited school in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- Must be licensed by the state of New York in your professional discipline
- SIFI certification and experience supervising interns is a plus
- 4 or more years of post-graduate supervisory experience in a mental health facility
- Able to be on-call during off-hours and weekends by cell phone for consultation as needed
- Outstanding engagement and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills

- Demonstrated professionalism, initiative, and adaptability
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Schedule
Hybrid schedule: Sunday–Thursday (Sundays are onsite).
Pay
Salary: $135,000–$140,000 per year.
