About the role
The School of Business Administration at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Information Systems focused on Human-Centered Design effective in Fall 2023 or when agreed upon. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to innovative teaching, research, and student success.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Systems, focusing on Human-Centered Design
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new curricula and pedagogical approaches
- Engage in scholarly activity, including research and publication
- Participate in service activities within the department, college, and university
Requirements
- A PhD in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field by the start date
- Experience with Human-Centered Design principles and methodologies
- Strong teaching skills and ability to develop innovative course materials
- Research potential in the area of Human-Centered Design in Information Systems
