About the role
The School of Business Administration at Penn State Harrisburg is seeking a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Information Systems focused on Human-Centered Design starting in Fall 2023 or at an agreed-upon date.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Information Systems, with a focus on Human-Centered Design.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative curricula and pedagogical approaches.
- Engage in scholarly research that advances the field of Information Systems, particularly in Human-Centered Design.
- Participate in service activities, including advising students, committee work, and professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field by the start date.
- Strong record of academic achievement and publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with Human-Centered Design methodologies and technologies.
- Ability to teach effectively at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
