About the role
The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Assistant Professor-in-Residence in the College of Sciences, starting Fall 2026.
Responsibilities
- Teach and assess online biology lecture and laboratories courses for non-biology majors.
- Collaborate with a talented team of biology instructors in the College and the School of Life Sciences.
- Demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based instructional methods for a diverse student population.
- Demonstrate continued scholarship and professional development.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in a biological science related degree from an accredited college or university as recognized by the United States Department of Education and/or the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Credentials must be obtained prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching online undergraduate biology courses.
