About the role

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Anesthesiology with a focus on Pediatric Anesthesiology.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent degree
• ABA certification with subspecialty certification, the equivalent, or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology, or status as a candidate in the examination system
• Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania license

Responsibilities

• Teaching in the formal didactic lecture program and informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Operating Rooms
• Clinical responsibilities including direct patient care and medical direction in the Operating Rooms
• Primary practice at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and King of Prussia campuses

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric anesthesiology
• Experience teaching residents and fellows
