Associate/Full Professor Clinician-Educator General Anesthesiology - CHOP

About the role

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure clinician educator track.

Responsibilities

• Expertise in Pediatric Anesthesiology
• ABA certification with subspecialty certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pennsylvania licensure required
• Teaching responsibilities include formal didactic lecture program and informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the Operating Rooms
• Attendance and participation in lectures, presentations, and conferences within the division as well as multidisciplinary conferences is expected
• Clinical responsibilities include providing clinical anesthesia and medical direction in the Operating Rooms and other anesthetizing locations at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
• Research or scholarship responsibilities may include investigator-initiated and collaborative research

Requirements

Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree.
