Assistant Production Manager

About the role

Assistant Production Managers will work directly with the Branch Production Manager to oversee the installation and services of their dedicated branch location. The objective of the position is to ensure install budgets are met, culture and safety is upheld. The most critical aspect of the position is to ensure the LeafGuard gutter system is installed to company standards while protecting the installation teams though company safety policies. The role is also responsible to ensure production (installers and fabricators) is adhering to protocol and managing installation in accordance with all safety procedures. Customers are communicated with on scheduling expectations and quality control after installation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and services for the branch location.
• Ensure install budgets are met and uphold culture and safety.
• Ensure LeafGuard gutter system is installed to company standards while protecting installation teams per safety policies.
• Ensure production (installers and fabricators) adheres to protocol and manages installation per all safety procedures.
• Communicate with customers on scheduling expectations and quality control after installation.
• Day‑to‑day operations: schedule services.
• Address customer complaints and concerns as needed.
• Collect monies owed by customers.
• Schedule and report daily production activities to management.
• Be knowledgeable of applicable local, state, and federal safety and OSHA programs.
• Implement efficient practices and modifications for improvement.
• Understand safety procedures for LG installation and machine, and required PPE for each job.
• Manage incident/accident rate in the branch with the Safety Manager and develop local action plans for injury prevention.
• Possess basic knowledge in CPR, first aid, and emergency response (training required).
• Ensure the lead process is properly followed and documented.
• Handle collection and documentation of positive and negative customer service reviews.
• Responsibility for customer complaint handling and documentation.
• Ensure pre‑ and post‑installation calls are completed to set expectations and verify quality of workmanship.
• Conduct three jobsite visits per week to verify installation quality, jobsite cleanliness, and overall positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety procedures for LG installation and machine, including required PPE.
• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal safety and OSHA programs.
• Basic knowledge in CPR, first aid, and emergency response (training required).
• Ability to manage incident/accident rates and develop injury prevention action plans.
