About the role
The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Information School seeks to hire up to three tenure-track positions in information sciences. Positions are available in areas such as:
- Human factors of cybersecurity and privacy
- Natural language processing and information retrieval
- Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
- Computational Social Sciences
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting research in the field of information sciences
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
- Mentoring students and postdoctoral researchers
- Contributing to the development and implementation of new programs and initiatives
Requirements
Required qualifications include:
- A PhD in Information Sciences or a related field
- Strong record of research and publication
- Excellent teaching skills
