Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care and consultations for adult patients with kidney disease.
- Deliver clinical services in both inpatient hospital settings and ambulatory clinics within the Johns Hopkins Health System.
- Manage adult patients receiving dialysis at affiliated outpatient centers, including a rapidly growing home dialysis program.
- Participate in weekly, weekend, and holiday call rotations.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures, case discussions, and curriculum-related activities.
- Engage trainees in reviewing scientific publications and evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to a robust research environment that spans basic, translational, and clinical investigation.
- Collaborate widely across the Schools of Medicine and Public Health.
- Support and participate in the division’s expanding clinical trials program.
- Pursue independent and collaborative funding opportunities as appropriate.
Qualifications
- A medical degree (MD or equivalent foreign degree).
- A minimum of one year of patient care and scholarly experience.
- Possession of, or eligibility for, a Maryland medical license.
- Board certification in Nephrology, or official documentation of eligibility to sit for the certification exam.

Salary Ranges
- Assistant Professor: $125,558 – $222,552
- Associate Professor: $122,590 – $257,215
