Role Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse responsible for supporting clinical and operational activities within an assigned shift, reporting to the unit director/manager. They utilize the nursing process to oversee patient care, coordinate services, and provide managerial presence across shifts. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services.Support clinical staff and ensure quality patient care.Utilize leadership skills to manage daily operations and staff.Apply nursing knowledge to coordinate activities and resolve issues. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN); RN license in Alaska.Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.At least 1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience.Preferred: recent acute care experience, charge nurse experience, leadership, and shared governance involvement.
