Job Summary

Job Shift: Nights
Job Type: Full Time
Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Trauma Associate Nurse Manager provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of St. Mary’s Medical Center and Palm Beach Children’s Hospital Trauma Service Line. In collaboration with the Trauma Program Director and Trauma Medical Director, the trauma patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the trauma associate nurse manager oversees the trauma resuscitation nurses assessment, plans, implementations, evaluations, and coordinates treatment plans for patients in trauma resuscitation. The ANM demonstrates strong trauma clinical assessment, nursing intervention, and strong communication/leadership skills. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Trauma ANM provides trauma service line support.

Qualifications

  • Education: BSN
  • Experience: 2 years experience in Trauma, Emergency, and / or ICU Nursing preferred
  • Licenses: REGISTERED NURSE
  • Certifications: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN), NIHSS 3 CEU COURSE, ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN), CPI (WITHIN 30 DAYS), PALS, TNCC and/or ATCN
