Responsibilities
- Provides administrative, operational, and quality oversight of the hospital's trauma program.
- Collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) standards, state trauma regulations, and organizational policies.

- Collaborates with the Trauma Medical Director to ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) standards, state trauma regulations, and organizational policies.
- Oversees trauma program performance improvement, registry oversight, outreach coordination, and preparation for ACS verification and state designation.
- Oversights PI coordinators, registrars, and Injury Prevention Coordinator.
- Closely collaborates with Emergency Services, Surgical Services, ICU, ancillary departments, and hospital leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- PREFERRED: Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare focus.
- Trauma clinical experience (ED or ICU preferred).
- Trauma program management, trauma leadership, or quality management experience.
- FIVE years clinical experience in Emergency or Trauma nursing.
- Working knowledge of quality improvement and Joint Commission standards.
- Knowledge of ACS COT standards and trauma PIPS processes.
- Knowledge of Florida Department of Health Trauma Standards.
- Required: Registered Nurse licensed in Florida; American Heart Association BLS and ACLS; TNCC.
- PREFERRED: PALS and ENPC.
