About the role

At PRESNow 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Care, the Assistant Nurse Manager plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across both emergency and urgent care settings. This position is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting and developing nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Through strong leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight, the Assistant Nurse Manager promotes exceptional patient experiences, drives quality outcomes, and supports the efficient delivery of evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

Location: 4515 Coors Blvd NW Albuquerque, NM 87120. Full-time (FTE 1.00), exempt position with varied days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Support daily clinical operations and workflow management to ensure quality, safety, and exceptional patient care.
• Assist with staff onboarding, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
• Help ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and interdisciplinary teams to achieve departmental, operational, and patient experience goals.

Qualifications

• Licensure: State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
• Education: Associate Degree Academic Preparation Degree from accredited academic nursing program
• BLS
