About the role

This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data. The role includes supervising staff, hiring, training, evaluating performance, and ensuring departmental productivity aligns with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff by hiring, training, assigning work, conducting performance reviews, and supporting professional development.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, including staffing, revenue, and expenses, responding to business needs.
• Ensure delivery of patient care based on assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, documenting according to policies.
• Create collaborative care plans and oversee their implementation.
• Review staff hours, manage payroll, coordinate staff communications, and handle staffing needs, including overtime and disciplinary actions.
• Track staff productivity and achieve operational goals set by leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years for associate's; 5-10 years with bachelor's; supervisory experience preferred.
• Licenses: Must be a licensed RN.
• Additional Requirements: Leadership and surgical experience are a plus.
