Assistant Nurse Manager - Inpatient Surgical

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing statistical data. Key Responsibilities Supervises staff by hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development, ensuring departmental goals are met.Participates in staffing, budgeting, and responding to operational changes to meet revenue and expense targets.Provides patient care aligned with age and developmental needs, creating collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments.Monitors staff productivity, manages work hours, approves payroll, conducts performance reviews, and handles disciplinary actions. Qualifications & Skills Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred Experience: 2+ years in leadership; 5-10 years preferred for advanced roles Licenses: Valid RN license Preferred: Leadership experience, surgical background, team lead or charge experience.
