About the role
The Assistant Nurse Manager Emergency Room is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the Emergency Room department. They are expected to ensure that all staff members are adequately trained and supervised, and that patient care standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Room team
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Manage staff schedules and training programs
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process
- Collaborate with other departments to improve patient flow and outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an RN
- Experience in emergency room management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
