Your future role at a glance Location: Tulsa, OK Facility: Ascension St John Medical Center Department: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-Time | Evenings How you’ll make an impact in this role Assesses daily patient access needs and ensures that appropriate patient care is provided. Provides oversight involving all aspects of nursing department operations.Delivers quality patient care and ensures implementation of clinical objectives.Delegates appropriate duties to clinical staff based on their assessed skills and abilities, maintaining proficiencies related to job functions and processes through ongoing monitoring of daily operations.Collaborates with department leadership to ensure processes are up to date and followed.Participates with ongoing quality initiatives, auditing projects and development of plans for improvement.Conducts hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff. What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need Licensure / Certification / Registration Required Credential(s):BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
