Assistant Nurse Manager - Cardiac Cath Lab - F/T - Evenings

Responsibilities

• Participate with recruitment and retention strategies
• Aid in unit huddles and leader rounding with employees
• Participate or lead evidenced-based practice projects or research
• Participate or lead unit-based or hospital-based shared governance committees or councils
• Resolve conflicts and facilitate constructive resolutions and positive outcomes if possible
• Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary
• Adhere to HMH's Organizational and Managerial competencies and standards of behavior
• Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations to assigned staff members
• Contribute to and/or monitor the unit orientation process of all roles as necessary

Qualifications

• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree with BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire
• Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent required
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required
• National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program and appropriate to your current specialty (within two years of hire)
• Supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
