Assistant Men's & Women's Track & Field Coach (Throws)
About the role
Northwood University (NCAA Division II, located in Midland, MI) is looking for a full-time Assistant Men's and Women's Track & Field Coach (Throws). The positions would be responsible for technical and weight room training for the throwing events. Must be able to work effectively with current coaching staff.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Track and Field/Cross Country Coach with all facets of conducting successful men's and women's track and field programs
- Coaching of events during practice and competition for men's and women's programs
- Recruiting
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of and in compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations
- Must display professional integrity
- Effective communication with staff and student-athletes is imperative
Expectations
- Involves travel
- Working weekends
- Working hours outside of a normal work week
