Assistant Track and Field Coach (Throws)

About the role

Simpson College, an NCAA Division III institution, is seeking an Assistant Track and Field Coach specializing in throws. This position supports the daily operations of the men's and women's intercollegiate track and field program.

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with all aspects of the track and field program, including recruiting student-athletes
• Support student-athletes throughout their collegiate careers
• Assist with meet management
• Contribute to fundraising efforts
• Coach throwing events
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Track and Field/Cross Country, Head Track Coach, or Director of Athletics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Previous coaching experience, ideally at the collegiate level
• Previous experience as a thrower or coaching throwing events
