About the Role
This position ensures the safe and reliable mechanical operation of lifts, with emphasis on proficiency, instruction, safety, and leadership in all areas of Lift Maintenance. This role ensures that lifts operate safely, reliably, and in full compliance with ANSI B77.1 standards, OSHA, and all manufacturer and company policies. The department is responsible for the safe transport of guests and employees on the mountain. The role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and grow with the department and build a career in the ski industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned lifts
- Utilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime
- Engage around priorities to foster collaboration and results
- Follow safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Support the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization, working closely with Lift Operations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Prior mechanical or electrical experience
- Must have or ability to obtain a valid US driver's license
- Ability to work efficiently at heights
- Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
- Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred
Qualifications
- Minimum age: at least 18 years
Pay
The expected pay range for this position is $27.00 - $38.00 per hour. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
